The More You Give the More You Get!

I posted this recently on Not In India 2012 but felt the message important enough to repost here.  Enjoy! 🙂

The Casino

The Casino

I have written in the past, both on this blog and on my Mindfulness Journal, about Manifesting Dreams and Creating a New Reality. Much of what we talk about, and read about these days deals with the Laws of Attraction and attracting what we want into our lives. There are some very basic techniques about how to go about doing this. You can find innumerable posts, articles, videos, books, lectures, workshops etc. regarding this whole “business”.

But one thing which is very often overlooked, or not given enough attention, is the simple idea that “like attracts like” – meaning, if you live in a mode of want, if you worry about what you don’t have, and worry about what you do have but might not have tomorrow….if you count your pennies because you are afraid you may not have enough tomorrow, if you live “frugally” to insure your having enough “when”….then you are actually defeating the purpose. The more you live in fear of not having, the more you save for a rainy day, the more you count each penny you spend, the more you are “careful” with what you have, the more you will attract more of the same into your life. You will always be afraid and probably for the reason that you don’t have enough, you will never have enough for a rainy day, you will continue counting pennies because you will never have more than pennies to count, and you will never have “more”, rather you will continue to have ‘less”.

The story below is an example of how giving freely, even if you don’t have “enough”, of giving lovingly and without fear of “not having” what you need if you’ve given to someone else, of sharing what you have with a full heart, attracts even more into your life. People who live like this, even if it seems as if they have very little, will ALWAYS have what they need, whenever they need it. I can tell you this from personal experience as well. Once I got out of the “fear” mode and moved into the “free” mode, once I began giving lovingly, to others and myself, whenever I felt like it or needed to, I began experiencing all kinds of unexpected surprises of money finding its way into my life, free vacations coming my way, strange “coincidences” and of course no longer having to worry that I don’t have, or will not have, enough.

I recently posted the following on my Facebook page:

On my way to the train station and in the blink of an eye my travel plans have changed. As always, God and the Universe are looking out for me, and I have been sent an Amtrak ticket by an angel named M. so that I don’t have to travel by local commuter train where I would save $60 or more but would have to change trains, (I am carrying all my luggage) ,wait for trains and spend more than 2 hours riding what is less than a 1 hour actual trip. I am truly blessed! 😀

The angel was my cousin who I was going to visit and she lovingly paid for my Amtrak ticket, round trip, and did so with joy and happiness. Two days ago, she took me “just for fun” to a casino near her home. I just played out the $5 I was given as an incentive by the casino, and when I finished, she took over the machine I was playing, After a couple of minutes of play, SHE WON $1000!!!!. And that is how it works!

It has been quite some time since I’ve been here, and I will not try right now to bring this blog up to date with the events of the past 6 months or so…that I will do my best to accomplish over the next few weeks.
But yesterday, during my morning meditation, I was given the following guidance/message: “Start reading your blog randomly, on a daily basis, and begin posting to Facebook”!. Don’t quite understand the Facebook part but this evening I DID open my blog and begin to choose random posts.
The second one I chose was this:

Soul Mate and Tarot

After reading this post, I remembered a very recent reading I did for myself, just about 2 weeks ago, (on May 12th to be precise) which once again found me dealing with the issue of finding my soul mate. I thought it would be interesting to share it here as it is so similar to the previous one dealing with the same issue, from December 19, 2009. I continue to put my efforts into bringing this vision into reality, but there are times when my patience fail me and I need further support and encouragement. Which is precisely what happened here….

You can see the cards I chose 5 months ago by going to the link above. And here, with their message, are the cards I chose 2 weeks ago!. I was urged to check the cards during my morning meditation, right after realizing that May 12th is my father’s birthday (he passed away 3 1/2 years ago, but is still with me). I wished him a happy birthday and in reply he said to me: “It is now YOUR turn! – MAKE IT WORK!” (yes, he was shouting a little)…not quite understanding what he was referring to, I then followed the guidance I was given and opened the cards. Here they are:
LAXSHMI- BRIGHT FUTURE: Stop worrying-everything is going to be fine
MOTHER MARY – EXPECT A MIRACLE: Have Faith that your prayers have been heard and are being answered
ABUNDANTIA-PROSPERITY: The Universe is pouring its abundance out to you – be open to receiving

ISABELLA: Yes, the timing is right for this new venture – a happy outcome follows your positive expectations
ARCHANGEL URIEL: Your emotions are healing which enables you to open to greater love
CARESSA: You are at the end of a cycle in your life. Happiness awaits you now

And an extra card which fell out of the deck by itself:
ISAIAH: It is a good time to give birth to new ideas and situations in your life – I am watching over you, guiding you and protecting you during these changes.

Some of you may understand the cards as referring to a new business adventure, a new course of study, moving to a new home, finding a new job etc., but for me, this is just further affirmation that my moving forward in every way possible towards coming together with my soul mate, is precisely what I should be doing at this point in time.

Love light and JOY to all

Messages from the Angels- 01-10-2010…don’t know, but this date looks cryptic, doesn’t it?
I’ve been working intensely with the issue of soul mate/life partner for quite some time and it all finally surfaced in a gentle and loving way while doing panchakarma this year. The process was extremely deep and all those things still deeply entrenched in my subconscious, which were keeping me from manifesting this dream into reality all these years, were finally released. Through dreams, meditation, music and many other subtle but powerful ways, I not only understood what had prevented manifestation until now, but was also able to easily “let-go” and finally find myself in a place of acceptance and complete freedom from fear.
I have been working now with this each and every day and feeling the true emotional reality more and more deeply and for me, it seems to be a “done deal”. This evening, I was urged to do a card reading, and it just confirmed all I’ve been feeling but in such a lovely, and loving way, that I would like to share it with you.

While I began the reading, I was playing music randomly on my computer, and a beautiful love song began playing, in Hebrew. One of the phrases in the song refers to being “enveloped in love” and this concept is so beautifully said, and was the perfect setting for the reading which followed (I personally NEVER ask for specific issues to be dealt with in card readings and always trust that whatever it is I need to know or do at the time will be revealed to me through the messages channeled via the cards. And I was not disappointed this time:
Here are the cards I picked and a short message from each: First the Goddess Cards:

WHITE TARA: …you’ve stripped away the outer protective layers of unneeded defences which block you….
SEKMET: As you rise above the old tendencies and see yourself in the new light of beautiful feminine strength, your life will automatically shift in miraculous ways.
In addition, TWO cards having to deal with abundance “jumped out” together!:
PROSPERITY AND INFINITE SUPPLY: …be open to receiving…
…you are supplied for today and all o0f your tomorrows:

And now the Angel Cards:

DANIEL: I am the angel of marriage and I am assisting you right now!
SEREPHINA: I am the angel of families. A happy change or addition is coming to your family. This happy change is Divinely ordered. Surrender your worries to God…
ISABELLA: This one was so perfect, I will copy its message almost in its entirety:
Yes, the timing is right for this new venture. A happy outcome follows your positive expectations.
In answer to your question…yes, this situation is everything you hoped it would be…pray for angelic assistance along the way. Even ideal situations require adjustments as you move forward. However, we angels see smooth sailing with this decision. …favorable…timing…Several pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place. You have learned invaluable lessons that have prepared you. Your patience has paid off…Take bold steps, while listening to the wise guidance of your heart as you move along fearlessly!

I received the story below by e-mail today, and post it here as it is a perfect example of how it all works. It needs no further explanation, but read it and try and think of all the things that have happened in your own life, where you saw the results only years later, never realizing that there is an “overview” (if you want more info on this, write to me and ask about Kryon) which we cannot see, but is set in motion years, sometimes even lifetimes before the final event becomes reality.

A Life for a Life

Yoni, an Israeli Defense Force soldier stationed in Hebron , was shot by an Arab terrorist. It happened very early in the morning, and no one else was awake to hear it. Yoni passed out and was bleeding steadily, his life heading toward a silent end.

But another soldier stationed nearby heard the shot and went to investigate. He found a fellow Israeli soldier bleeding to death. He tried the best he could to stop the bleeding and called for help. Waiting for help to arrive, he kept applying pressure to the wound–literally holding Yoni’s life in his hands.

Yoni was taken to hospital in Be’er Sheva where he underwent surgery. Yoni’s parents were notified and they rushed to the hospital. Imagine the fear of the parents who were only told “your son has been injured and is in the hospital.” When they arrived the doctor told them that Yoni was shot but will be alright. However, had it not been for the immediate actions of the other soldier, their son Yoni would have bled to death.

It was a miracle that the other soldier heard what no one else heard, and managed to locate Yoni as quickly as he did. The parents wanted to thank that soldier, but he had just left the hospital after hearing that the soldier he helped would survive.

While recuperating at home, Yoni and his parents called the army to find out the name of the other soldier so they could thank him personally. Unfortunately, that soldier’s name was not recorded and although they tried to ask around they simply couldn’t track down who that other soldier was.

Yoni’s mother knew that the important thing of course is that Yoni is well, yet she could not help feeling that as long as she couldn’t meet and thank the solider who bravely saved her son’s life–the entire frightening episode would not be fully over. Not being able to thank the soldier continued to give her an empty feeling…but then she had an idea.

The couple owned a grocery store in Kiryat Malachi (a town near Ashdod ), so they decided to put up a sign in the store, describing what happened, figuring that Israel is a small country and eventually they might found out who the mystery soldier was.

Months passed with no response. Finally, one morning about a year later, a woman customer noticed the sign hanging by the door of the store. She recalled how happy her son Yair was when he came home one Friday night and told them how he heard a shot and was able to save another soldier’s life in Hebron . She went back and told the owner of the store. The story matched. The two women now decided to try to reach their sons on cell phones and see if they could meet at the store. Fortunately it turned out that both the young men and even the fathers were able to all meet that afternoon at the store.

The families soon gathered for an emotional “rendezvous”. The soldiers recounted army experiences and finally after all this time Yoni’s mother could stand up and thank Yair for saving her son’s life or as she put it, “You saved my world”. She looked forward to feeling “completion” after all this time by thanking the soldier, but little did she know that the story was hardly complete.

After the tearful thank you, Yair’s mother quietly pulled her aside and asked to speak with her outside. The two women went out alone. And she asked Yoni’s mother: “Look at me– don’t you remember me?”

“No, I’m sorry did we meet before?”

“Yes,” Yair’s mother replied. “You see there is a particular reason I came into your store today. I used to live here, and this time although I was just passing by, I wanted to give you my business, even though I was only buying a few things.”

“What are you talking about?” Yoni’s mother asked.

The other woman answered, “Twenty years ago I used to live around here and came all the time to buy milk and bread. One day you noticed that I looked really down and you were very nice and asked me why I seemed so down and I confided in you. I told you that I was going through a very difficult time and on top of that I was pregnant and planning on having an abortion. As soon as I said “abortion” you called your husband over and the two of you seemed to forget about your own store and business, and just sat down and patiently listened to me. I still remember clearly what you said.

“You told me that it is true that I was going through a hard time but sometimes the good things in life come through difficulty, and the best things come through the biggest difficulties. You spoke of the joy of being a mother and that the most beautiful word to hear in the Hebrew language is “Ima” (mother) when spoken by one’s child. You both spoke and spoke until I was convinced that I actually should have this baby–so you see G-d paid you back!”

”What do you mean? asked Yoni’s mother”. The answer astounded and thrilled her.

“I had a boy twenty years ago that you saved by telling me to think twice before doing the abortion.” With happy tears she declared, “My beloved Yair wouldn’t have been alive if not for you. He was the one you were looking for. He was the one who grew up to save your son Yoni’s life!”

This incredible story is true. The actual names are on file.

Love light and joy

Living in India 2009– How a Dream Becomes a Reality

So many people have asked me how I have managed to arrange my life so that I can spend 6 months a year in India, that I’ve decided to write about it as there hopefully are lessons for others to learn from this as well.

I have done some thinking about the whole concept of turning dreams into reality. It is a fairly simple concept actually, but seeing it truly work is the amazing part. When we have a focused intention and can visualize it, and then release it completely to God and the Universe, our new reality begins to be created for us. The catch here is that we must TOTALLY release it, in complete Faith, knowing that it will be taken care of. The “how’s” are well beyond our human capabilities to imagine.

If we continue to “second-guess” the wisdom of the Universe, or mix fear into the equation, we sabotage the final outcome.

Asking each day for the best possible outcome to our prayers, our dreams, for our Higher Good and the Higher Good of all who come in contact with us, on all levels – asking for openness to accept and embrace ALL that comes our way in COMPLETE FREEDOM FROM FEAR – asking for the wisdom to “hear” all the messages we receive – is all we need to do to insure the successful manifestation of our dreams into reality.

In 2001, at the age of 54, when I quit my high paying job in hi-tech (more…)

While beginning the planning of my next sojourn in India, I realized that regular readers of my blogs must be under the impression that nothing inspirational, thought provoking or exciting happens to me when I am back in Israel!

Well, the opposite is true. Every single day is an amazing adventure, a mystery waiting to unfold in amazing and quite surprising ways, full of synchronicities, messages and blessings. The reason I do so little posting while in Israel, is simply that I have less time to dedicate to my blog and so these articles, which are just waiting to be posted, accumulate in my notebook and in my head to the point where I don’t know where to begin first…right now there are AT LEAST 4 I would like to share with you. I will begin with the current place in my life and work my way back, but the posts will deal with the following which start from the most recent and work their way back:

1. My moving to a new flat
2. The story of my teaching Reiki to someone from Moscow who found me on the internet!
3. The Retreat I went to “by chance”, meeting my Guides and the messages channeled to me.
4. The Passing of my dear friend Abdellah
5. The idea of “Fear and Faith…you can’t have both”

And of course all the subsequent messages and lessons learnt from each of the above.

Soooo….let’s begin with the “simple” fact that I am moving to a new flat in a month’s time! (more…)
