Broken Heart Meditation

Please find here a beautiful meditation for helping to deal with the pain of a broken heart.

It was part of a lovely healing session I was given today and I am writing it here, just as much for myself as for others. I am sure it will be of help to many people and am happy I can share it.  It was a small but very powerful part of a beautiful healing session I had today with the lovely Chinese healer I met at the astrologer.  She is a Reiki Master but uses other forms of healing as well.  She was gentle but went very deep and will be coming again tomorrow. In addition to the discussion we had, and her intuitively  knowing what I needed, she was also guided before coming to prepare something for me (before she even spoke to me).  A candle on which she carved some Eastern sutra/mantra.  The sutra is used in cases where someone has to release things which are stuck…She instructed me to burn the candle with this intention and when it was all burned down, to sit out in the sun (!) and allow the sunlight to fill the places that were emptied of pain, etc.  So, hopefully tomorrow morning I will see a sunny day again and will do this as well.

Check the full meditation for “fixing” broken hearts which may be of help to you or someone you know.

Sit comfortably, and take three deep breaths.  Imagine yourself sitting on along the Ganga (or any other body of water you feel drawn to).  Listen to the sound of the water flowing, and feel the sun bringing its warmth to your entire body.  Filling you with sunlight and warmth.

There is a large, very hot, black stone filling your heart chakra.  Feel it there and try to understand why it is there or who or what it represents…and why it is filling your heart chakra. If you do not know for sure what it represents, it is OK.  Just continue with the meditation which will allow you to release whatever it is that has “broken your heart”.

With each inhale, imagine you are breathing in the warmth of the sun and its light, directly to this hot, black stone.  And with each exhale you release some of the heat.  Slowly the stone will become comfortably warm, rather than hot, and as you continue breathing in the sunlight, it will turn white in color.  Then feel it slowly breaking up into small pebbles, like those along the shore of the Ganga.  As you continue to breath, imagine that with each exhale you slowly breath out these pebbles and allow them to fall into the Ganga…the water is so clear you can see them slowly sinking to the bottom.  You have released something which you loved very dearly, but which is no longer healthy for you.  And you have released it gently to the loving waters of the Ganga to care for this thing you loved so dearly.  Feel at peace about releasing this into the Ganga and know it will be well cared for.

Once you feel you have released as many pebbles as possible, begin once again to inhale the sunlight and allow it to fill the empty space created in your heart by the release of the stone that was there.  Allow the sun to fill your heart with warm loving energy.

Continue doing this until you feel at peace completely, and then give thanks to God and the Universe for helping in this meditation, and for the peace and love you feel in your heart.

You may to need to repeat this exercise more than once over several days…I will definitely do so…

Hope this has been of some assistance.

With love light and JOY

Jane

November 15, 2008 – The Second Message in a Dream and a New Poem

Going with the Flow

Going with the Flow

I continue to have vivid dreams which stay with me after waking up. Last night I had a very long dream but the main part involved my taking a journey in a canoe on a body of quiet water, seemingly with no current. And have no paddles. I was just gently moved along by an unknown force to wherever it was I had to get to. that also unknown to me. But I felt myself, in the dream, completely at peace and enjoying the journey (water plays a big role in many of my messages, and my poetry as well (see poetry page on upper toolbar as well as the poem at the end of this post which I wrote one day sitting along the Ganga).

When I finally got to a place where I met other people., including Kobi, my car mechanic (!), I found myself welcomed by all and feeling at home. Don’t know where I was and even found my car which was sparkling clean both inside and out – including all mechanical parts – spotless – like brand new. Kobi said he had nothing to do with the change…it arrived here like that [new car? Or just a message that a solution to the car issue is already in place at the end of whatever this journey is?]

More details:
The canoe was made of soft material, almost enveloping me but still keeping the physical form of a canoe while being flexible enough to bend and move with the flow of the water. Even able to shield me from getting wet when there were splashes of water along the journey. Bending its nose left and right to go around bends…and me just sitting there completely at ease all the time.

There are lots of interpretations for this dream, and one could simply be a message about my car problem, or just a message telling me that I am being gently moved along and protected through my journey wherever it is taking me…and to allow myself to gently flow with it… or Dr. Arora’s interpretation which I also like.

The beautiful clean car, sparkling like new, including all internal mechanical parts, simply represents my body, inside and out, after the cleansing and rejuvenation of panchakarma!!

And that’s it for this dream.

And here is the latest “water poem”:

Sound – flowing, moving with it the sacred energies of Ma Ganga.
Sound – vibrating and cleansing with its subtle but powerful rhythm.
Water – rushing over rocks, its voice vitalizing the languid flow of the river.
Water – transforming forceful turmoil into calm serenity to my soul.

Calming the chattering of my mind and bringing a hypnotic tranquility

The following is posted on my India Blog as well, but felt it needed to find its way to this blog also. There is a more intense and thought-provoking post in the process dealing with Fear and Faith, but it is not yet ready for posting…perhaps it will be before I leave India…and then again, perhaps not!

I’ve come to an interesting understanding… My blog posts this trip have been fairly dull and uninteresting and whenever I sat down at the computer to write about my day, there was no true desire to write at all. So I simply put down the basic facts of the day’s experience and left it at that. The “heart” of my experience literally never got put down “on paper”. And that was the problem.

I am now sitting in a coffee shop along the Ganga, feeling the energies, absorbing the atmosphere, and, with pen in hand, FEELING the words for the first time this trip. I cannot go back and “fix” what has already been posted, but I would like to believe that the rest of the trip will, as in the past, first find its way through my heart and hand via pen, to paper, and then later simply be transcribed to the computer. The full range of feelings and insights can only be felt in this way it seems.

I truly have had an amazing journey here. So many things have happened in so short a time, that I honestly do not feel the need to be here longer than the originally planned 7 weeks ( which end in 2 weeks!). Everything I could have dreamt of and imagined to make this short time perfect, whole and complete, has happened. Healing on deep levels, great joy and laughter, (more…)
